It contains silicon oil that is used in facial primers so it goes on matte and smooth.
It feels very lightly matte. It stays on for hours with long lasting effect.
You can just turn the crayon to use just like any lipsticks.
No need to sharpen! You can use it as a lip liner, a lip tint, or a lipstick.
